Mineko Iwasaki (岩崎 峰子?) also Iwasaki Mineko (岩崎 究香?), born Masako Tanaka (田中 政子 Tanaka Masako?, 1949), was the most famous Japanese geiko (geisha) until her sudden retirement at the age of 29. Her own life story became the base for the book Memoirs of a Geisha.
