武士は食わねど高楊枝 – Bushi wa kuwanedo takayôji

I have always been inspired and fascinated by Japanese Culture. From their respect of life and death and their poetic calligraphy and Origamis. From the aesthetics way they serve food and arrange flowers and create interiors. I have myself become an amateur Japanese culinary chef. I admire the bravery and elegance of the well trained Samurais and the colourful and well educated Geishas. From the sharpness of the Samurai swords to the softness of the Kimono Fabrics, and the minimalistic Death poetry. This artistic tribute is Inspired by filmmakers like Takeshi Kitano and Nagisa Oshima and master Akira Kurosawa and the provocative multi talented Mishima Yokio the “last Samurai”. And of course the Kinbaku-bi “the art of Bondage “ photography of Geishas by the provocateur "Nobuyoshi Araki "whose images I have used together with my own photography in my montages. T Dellert
